Georgia Social Studies Fair Winners

Congratulations to fifth-graders Jaxon Chiang and Madison Parker, SCCPSS Regional Social Studies Fair Winners.  They will advance to the Georgia Council for Social Studies State Fair in Kennesaw, Georgia. 

The Georgia Council for the Social Studies hosts an annual state social studies fair, a competition for students in grades 5-12, where they showcase projects demonstrating research and conclusions about people and their environment. The fairs are designed to encourage learning, practice, and recognition of student work in social studies. Students participate by developing projects that explore social studies topics, demonstrating research, data analysis, and conclusions.
